Refresing a gallery
Step 1: Open a gallery.
Select the menu item "File/Open gallery..." or press
the tool button 2; set the required
gallery file via the opened standard dialog, then press the button
"Open". The list of the gallery images will be displayed
on the right pane.
Step 2: Set parameters of gallery refreshing.
Select the menu item "Tools/Refresh gallery" or press
the tool button 8; set the required
parameters for refreshing via the opened dialog, then
press the button "Refresh".
Warning 1: do not make refreshing a gallery in the off-line
mode, i.e. when its images are stored on an ejected removable data medium -
gallery file clearing may be the result of such refreshing.
Warning 2: it is possible to change a root directory of a gallery only
in the registered version of the program.
Step 3: Refresh the gallery.
Set the required value of the parameter "Show images"
via the opened dialog, then press the button "Refresh".
Refreshing the gallery according to the specified parameters is occured
as a result of above-listed operations:
the root directory are changed if necessary, the image files which are absent
on the data medium are excluded from the gallery, the new image files that have
appeared within the root directory are read out and included into the gallery,
the modified files are reread (a file is considered to be modified if its modification
date and/or size (depending on settings for gallery refreshing) have been changed).
The results are displayed in the list on the right pane of the main window.
Step 4: Save the gallery.
Select the menu item "File/Save gallery" or press the
tool button 3.
If you want to keep the gallery in a new file, select the menu item "File/Save
gallery as..."; set the required path and assign a name to the new gallery
via the opened standard dialog, then press the button "Save".
